Yet, a winter departure remains unlikely, especially given the manager's reliance on the defender.

This Wales forward has found starting opportunities limited at Spurs this campaign. Although finishing as the side's leading goalscorer the previous campaign, he has begun only a handful of league matches. Reports suggest the North London club is open to a transfer for the right price, believed to be in the around £40 million.
